On 07.03.2026, we hosted our first wine and cheese fundraiser. The event was a collaboration between our club, IRCC, and the Copenhagen International Rotary Club. This time, the cause we were supporting was SHE LEADS . SHE LEADS works to empower trafficked women in Nigeria, helping them transition from prostitution to self-sufficiency, in collaboration with EXIST. We gathered over amazing wines and delicious cheese to later participate in a silent auction, from which the bids went for SHE LEADS.
A huge thank you goes to our sponsors, who provided a lot of the auction items – Let'z shop, River Gauche, Melt, Storytiles, Son of a tailor, Camera film, Sauna Nor, Studio Arhoj, and Mila's jewellery. Members of our club offered some auction items themselves – a music lesson, a golf lesson, crochet items, and more! We had some live music throughout the evening which made the atmosphere even cozier!
We managed to raise 26 000 DKK in donations for SHE LEADS! We thank everyone who made this amazing event happen, and thanks to that, the first step of the SHE LEADS project was completed!
